This was one of the best coffee roasts I’ve had in a time, probably since spring or so. It has a very clean and full coffee taste. The coffee is one and a half month old and is roasted by Per Nordby. The beans are dried while still in the berries and from Kochere in Ethiopia. Producer is Heleanna Georgalis. As usual I did one two minutes and one four minutes brew in french press. Water 90 degrees Celsius.
2 minutes: A full taste with tones of earth and much sweetness and berryness, almost no acidity in the after taste.
4 minutes: As expected brewing it longer gave it a fuller coffee taste. The aweetness also became more prominent.
The coffee is nice when it cools down and although somewhat earty in the taste it would probably do good for cold brewing.
