It took a while to get the ''christmas coffe tests'' up but here's the second one. My usual way of doing one two minutes and one four minutes brew in french press has consistently given better coffee at 4 minutes brew so I decided to skip the 2 minutes brew (maybe I'll try 3 minutes just for the sake of it). Water was as usual 90 degrees Celsius and I used a french press. The beans were 30 days old (from rasting) when I tried it and it was roasted by Christian.

4 minutes: As with the christmas coffee from Johan & Nyström it wasn't the best I tried, in this case da Matteo, although nice. The taste was soft, somewhat sweet, somewhat acidious, somewhat earthy. To me it was a little thin to the taste When temperature ahd gone down a little it got more caramel to the taste and in all becomes better, fuller and more complex.
