This was one of the best coffee roasts I've had in a while although I have a hard time describing why it's so nice. Probably it's the very clean and full coffee taste. As usual I did one two minutes and one four minutes brew in french press. The coffee is 12 days old and is limited edition roast that participated in swedish espresso competition. Water 90 degrees Celsius.2 minutes: Not as much earth in the taste as Johan & Nyström beans often have and not very acidious either. It was a broad and full taste, kind of sweet and with a mild but long after taste.
4 minutes: Brewing it longer gave it a fuller and cleaner coffee taste.
The coffee is not bad at all when it cools down and would probably do good for cold brewing.
