Often I think that Kahls kafferosteri is a little to roasterhappy but with thiese beans they've been a little more careful. This is a peaberry variety which means that only one of the two seeds in each of the coffee berries has matured which gives the seeds (the so called beans) a rounder shape instead of the more usual kind with a flat side. As usual I did one two minutes and one four minutes brew in french press. The coffe was about 3 months old. Water 90 degrees Celsius.

2 minutes: A light, volatile, taste with notes of earth and slightly acidious aftertaste.

4 minutes: The longer brew gives a fuller, more even and less acidious taste.

When the coffee cools down it improves a little and gets a more and fuller taste and a better finishing taste (less acidious).
