Kahls kaffe: Abessinskt vildkaffe

Rating: <\,/\,~~ <\,/\,~~ <\,/\,~~

This is a so called wild coffee which means that the trees grow less affected by man in the woods. It is also sundried which often gives a sweeter taste. Often I think that Kahls kafferosteri is a little to roasterhappy and so is the case here as well. Generally Kahls produces good price prestanda and is easier to find than the coffee varieties I usually buy. As usual I did one two minutes and one four minutes brew in french press. The coffe was about 4 months old. Water 90 degrees Celsius.

2 minutes: A very ''even'' taste, tastes of earth and slightly burnt taste. It tastes a little of berries and has a slightly acidious taste afterwards.

4 minutes: A fuller, less burnt taste. More tones of earth and less acidious in the aftertaste.

When the coffee cools down it improves a little and gets a fuller taste and a better finishing taste (less acidious).
