Etiopien Wutete from Johan & Nyström

Etiopien Wutete from Johan & Nyström

OK, I know, You shouldn't try coffee when it's just two days after it's roasted. It's much better after say a week or more but you know, ferrets are curious so ofcourse I couldn't hold myself and tried it. It was really nice so I'm looking forward to test it a week later and compare. It's hard to find words to describe tastes and smells and there are always a lot of personal associations involved but I'd say it has a full taste and it's less roasted than my main impression of Johan & Nyström beans wich I like. I'm a big fan of da Matteo, another small Swedish roaster, who always are a little careful with their roasting of the beans. The package says that it should be as silk in the mouth and have complex notes of sweet citrus and peaches. I don't know about the peaches but sweet citrus I can agree on. We'll see, maybe the peaches pop up as some more days go on.
